This was taken at the home of Lyn and Tom Benedict near Dexter, New Mexico. The house was built using one story of the St. Francis Convent that was once in Carlsbad, New Mexico. The location is where the Orchard Park POW camp was during World War II. The concrete building foundations are still in place.
Tom has built a Cygnet and an RV-6 tip-up. His 2600 foot dirt runway is 100 feet from his house. Tough huh?
